Getting over days that drag on

Have you ever had a day or two where everything just seems impossibly annoying? The days drag on and you could almost cry because you want everything to just go quiet and relax.

Some days my mind goes into deep thought and I find it hard to trace back to “normal”. I over think everything and go into panic mode.

I have a full-time job, I’m a Realtor studying for my broker license and I blog, soooo safe to say I don’t have that much time on my hands. Some days I get so stressed where I find myself pushing everything out and doing absolutely nothing. I used to feel so guilty doing that, but I realized that it’s ok to take a break from it all and have a moment of silence in my own head.

Some people make you believe you’re a failure or loser if you’re not at 100 all the time. I say, go at your own pace. Don’t try to mimic everyone’s else’s steps and create your own. I am slowly working on creating my own path. I close my eyes, breathe and hit reboot. Drinking coffee also helps me snap back.

It’s hard not knowing the final destination in life, just hold on, keep on keeping on like Joe Dirt says. If you haven’t seen that movie, “Joe Dirt” I highly recommend dropping everything and watch it. It’s oddly really inspirational.

Top 3 things I do to snap out of this mood?

  •  Workout
  • Read something interesting not inspiring (explain later)
  • Drink coffee

Explanation: Ok something interesting and inspirational could be completely different. Like, I read about stem cells and it was super interesting and for some reason it kind of took me out of this “I’m tired don’t want to do anything” mentality. I didn’t read Marilyn Monroe quotes. Lol. Idk the science or logic behind it but hey that helped me, so it might help you to read something interesting that’s not in your daily routine.

Anyways, days that drag are only temporarily, so never forget that. You will make it through.

As always thanks for reading. I appreciate you and your time.

xx
